         Taipei city= Taipei building is situated at the northern tip of Taiwan, Taipei is located on the Tams river It is about 25 km (16 mi) southwest of Keeling, a port city on the pacific ocean. The city proper is home to an estimated  2,618,772 people. Taipei, New Taipei and Keeling together from the Taipei-Keeling metropolitan  area with a population of 6,900,273. They are Administer Under three municipal governing bodies Taipei city proper is surrounded on all sides by New Taipei.
            Taipei is the political, economic , and cultural center of Taiwan. Taipei is part of a Major industrial area.  Railways, high speed rail, highways, airports, and bus lines Connect  Taipei with all parts of the island.
History=

             Taipei was founded in the early 18th century and become an important center for overseas trade in the 19th century. The king dynasty of china made Taipei the provincial capital of Taiwan in 1886. Japan acquired Taiwan in 1895 after the first Sion-Japanese war. Taiwan become a colony of Imperial Japan with Taipei as its capital. A number of Taipei landmarks and cultural institutions date from this period. The republic of china took over the island in 1945 following Japanese surrender. After losing mainland china to the Chinese Communicating (KMT) relocated the Ros government to Taiwan and declared Taipei the provisional capital of the republic of chine in December 1949.
In 1990 Taipei provided the backdrop for the wild lily student rallies that moved Taiwanese society from one-party rule to multiparty democracy. The city is today home to Taiwan’s democratically elected national government.

Taipei 101=
Taipei 101 is a 101-floor landmark skyscraper that claimed the title of world’s tallest building when it opened In 2004, a title it held for six years before relinquishing  it to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Designed by  C.Y. lee partners and construction by KTRT joint venture Taipei  101 making it the first skyscraper in the height.
Temples=
Built in 1738, Longhand temple is one of the oldest temples in the city.
      Taipei is rich in beautiful, ornate temples housing Buddhist Taoist, and Chinese folk religion deities. The longhand temple , built in 1738 and located in the wanhua district demonstrates an example of architecture with south Chinese influences  commonly seen or older buildings in Taiwan . the Taipei Confucius temple traces its history back to 1879 during the king dynasty and also incorporates south Fuji an-style  architecture.

Economy

                The empire state building is a 103 story skyscraper located in midtown Man Hatton new York city, at the intersection of faith avenue and west 34th street, it has a roof height of 1,250feet (381meters), and with its antenna spire included it stands a total of ,454ft (443.2m) high., its name is derived from the nick name for new York, the empire state,  it stood as the world’s tallest building for nearly 40 years, from its completion in early 1931 unit the topping out of the world trade center’s north tower in late 1970. Following the September 11 attacks in 2001, the Empire State Building was again the tallest busing in New York (although it was no longer the tallest in the US or the world), unit one world trade center reached a greater height on April 30,2012

History:
          The site of the empire state building was first developed as the john Thompson from in the last 18th century. At the time, a stream ran across the site, emptying into sunfish pond, located a block away beginning in the last 19th century, the block was occupied by the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, frequented by the four hundred the social elite of New York.
          The limestone for the empire state building came from the empire mill in sanders, adjacent which          is an unincorporated town adjacent to Bloomington, Indiana. The empire mill land office is near state road 37 just south of Bloomington. It is a point of local pride that the stone for the empire state building came from there.
